I thought that I would share my current makeup routine, which includes some of my favourite drugstore products. Personally, I love drugstore makeup due to its affordability and the ability to find dupes for more expensive, high-end makeup; a fraction of the price and still great quality.
At the moment, I am loving the L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Matte foundation. I use the shade 11-vanilla as I find this matches perfectly with my skin tone, I prefer not to use a very dark foundation as I like to have a natural toned base so I can vary the appearance with contour depending on what I am doing during that day. This foundation gives me just enough coverage and is easy to blend into the skin with a brush or sponge.
With concealer, I, along with many, swear by the Collection Lasting perfection concealer. It is great coverage and is very long lasting and acts as a great highlighting shade under the eyes, which is why I use the lightest shade. This concealer is always difficult to find in my local Boots so any opportunity I get to stock up, I definitely buy a few as it will always be one of my staples. A slightly more expensive concealer I use is the Bourjoirs Radiance Reveal concealer which is also a favourite. I set my concealer and create a matte look with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in shade 005 because it gives me some extra colour and sets my base makeup.
The next product is one which I have been using for a while and feel like it might be time to experiment with new ones, is for eyebrows. I use the Collection Powder eyebrow kit in the shade Blonde, as the colours are matched really well for to my eyebrow colour and it comes with the gel as well.
As a personal preference I prefer to have a bronzed look over highly contoured, so I use the Collection Bronze Glow mosaic bronzer which really does GLOW. This is followed by the Revolution Baked highlighter which is a gorgeous light gold colour.
Obviously for eyes I like to alternate the palettes I use but at the moment a quick and easy look which goes with any outfit is from the Revolution Redemption Palette 3. I like using the muted pink shades for a natural but noticeable look. Then if I am in the mood to do winged eyeliner, I always reach for my Maybelline Master Precise felt tip liner which is SO long lasting and easy to use. Then the look is completed with the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara, all completed with a few sprays of my Avon makeup setting spray.
I hope you all have a lovely day
