Autumn is one of my favourite seasons regarding fashion, I love layering and being able to wear jackets and coats again after the summer season, so, here is what I would buy, if I could afford it all, and who knows I might even treat myself to something on this list.
For anyone who follows my Instagram (and if you don’t, you definitely should!) , you would have seen on my story how I was expressing my NEED for these trousers. I have some similar from Pull & Bear in inverted colours, but I’d love these Brandy Meville ones since they are high
waisted which is definitely more my style. I really want to build up my collection of trousers, since I have really been finding it difficult to find jeans which I like, so I also love the sporty look of these cigarette trousers from ASOS.
I am also seriously lacking in jackets for autumn, and currently I am obsessed with anything suede. New Look and Zara are ON THEIR GAME when it comes to Autumnal jackets ready for the season, making me want all the styles in all the colours. But if I had to choose, then I think this New Look one is a great way to not fully commit to being in the depths of autumn due to the mustard yellow colour to keep an outfit bright. Yet of course Zara confuses everything by having this Stone coloured jacket which I think would look good with anything, or this suede jacket I love due to the geometric style lines and the vintage feel buttons. BUT then I also have never owned a fur coat and think this one is gorgeous too, I am HOPING that it comes back in stock in my size!
As I mentioned, I am a big supporter of layering to stay cosy and warm, but this does not have to mean wearing plain, boring jumpers. I love statement jumpers that don’t give you that feeling of guilt when you have to cover up that favourite top you are wearing to stay warm. This Patchwork Jumper from Zara is one of my favourites since I have been loving red at the moment and it would look great with some jeans or even a denim skirt. But then I also can’t resist being drawn to this Rainbow Jumper which is something a bit more different to what I currently have in
my wardrobe, but I love that its quirky but still very wearable. I actually love this whole outfit since its simple but looks cool and each aspect complements the outfit well; especially with those sunglasses, although they are usually not necessary for Autumn in the UK!
I guess the moral of this post is that I better start saving! But, hope you enjoyed reading! KJ x
